How did I get into wrestling?
As a fitness model, I was hired over three years ago for female
wrestling
videos. This is where I learned basic wrestling pins. Sometimes it
was
so much fun I had to turn my head away from the camera to hide my
laughter! As I branched out to mixed wrestling, I watched Shidokan and
Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. I then learned wrestling techniques from male
friends, street fighters, clients, and martial artists.
I studied for a couple months at the Carlson Gracie Jiujitsu school in
Chicago, but quit for various reasons. Currently, I hold a belt in
Combat
Do (MMA form that teaches jiujitsu, judo, hapkido, thai boxing, and
kempo)
Master Bob Schirmer and Shonie Carter are my teachers, and the
greatest
men on the planet.
How do I stay in shape?
By beating the crap out of you guys! Seriously, wrestling is the most
efficient workout. Aside from wrestling, I vary my exercise routines
with
spinning classes, circuit weight training, rollerblading, swimming,
rock
climbing, dancing at night clubs, and of course, running my dogs.
What are my interests?
My awesome dog, Driveby, passed away in January '05 from kidney
failure.
I can't live without dogs, so I adopted two new Pit Bulls, Fugazy and
Vino. I'm a gearhead in a bikini body's clothing, always hanging
around
with the good ole boys in a garage. If I'm not with my mom!
I love
Brazilian steakhouses and good Italian restaurants. I'm into side
projects that catch my interest and evolve my mind. I can have a
conversation about almost anything!
